New Product Up and Running

A ways to go, this is the bring up board. But it’s up and running, and I’ll be excited to release it. Code name Rogue1.

Any correct guesses, and you’ll get one for free.

From the picture I can see
    1. Micro USB (J1)
    2. Header through holes for standard USB (J2)
    3. What I think is an IR receiver
    4. A processor (U1)
    5. A Jtag header(J3)
    6. A 4 pin connector (J4)
    7. Supporting components

Would guess it’s IR remote related given your other products, so my official guess is a IR receiver that would allow the Flirc to work with the Amazon FireTV stick.

Hmmm. Looks like it might have a USB OTG interface? IR transmitter for Android?

No idea what it is, but I see HDMI, USB, JTAG(?), and something else (the white connector in the bottom left).

It looks like an IR remote capable video player. 🙂

BTW – Are there any plans for a 2.4GHz/Bluetooth capable version of the Flirc (call it something different)?

took me while to think about it. i saw this post on the 7th. however i now have an idea what it might be. i was playing around withg my google home mini and thougth it would be rgeat to control my normal old tv using my google home mini so my guess would be a IR transmitter. to emulate any tv remote. so you can control any IR device using smart home devices like google home and amazon alexa. please let it be this. i would love this to be real <3

    I’m thinking (and hoping) it’s a smart home –> infrared adapter (for Echo/Google Home/etc).
